Yeah, I’ve been caught by the police a couple times, but they just told me to leave. Was caught by a property owner once, who started threatening us. Turned out he knew my friends dad by coincidence (same friend was with us) and he seemed way friendlier after that. Was caught by random people a few other times but they just seemed confused about it. So nothing bad yet.

Yeah, I have a general artist statement here. Basically my work is less about having a story, and more about creating work that has no identifiable story line. The images have no context, and no explanation for anything outside of that single moment. So no explanation for what led to that moment, or what happened after, like a story generally would. I often obstruct the face or any identifiable features, and leave work untitled to create this looping moment with no context. My work also has individual meaning depending on the images or series, but thats the general statement for my work as a whole

These are some old photos I still like. I’m not going to post more of my ghost town series until after exhibition in the winter, so I’ll be shooting a bunch of different work in the mean time

Anonymous said: How do you find all the abandoned houses and other buildings you go to. Do you just drive around look for them?
Yeah usually. If you drive around in more rural areas you can usually find something. Just look for the signs: overgrown grass, broken mailbox, broken windows etc. Some are way more obvious. Theres ways you can find some online, but thats harder. The best ones are usually in the middle of nowhere and aren’t as obvious

So I’ve been living in Portland for a month and I really like it. Any one around here interested in modelling (or just hanging out? haha I’m down to meet more people in the area). For modelling theres no need to look like a model or anything. I’m looking for a wide variety of people (Would be for my “Ghost Town” series). Send me a message or something. No guarantees though! haha
