Thank you :)
Everythings been good recently, trying to keep busy and have been exploring a lot. I think life always feels overwhelming to me and I’m getting more used to it. I spent the weekend in a rural town with some friends and went into a mining cave and collected bones in a big bag at night. I’m settling in and looking into renting a photo studio and getting a group of people to model around here also

I’ve been living in Oregon for a few days now, and it’s nice. It’s so foggy all the time, the drive over here was so long, I was driving 13 hours a day. I’ve been shooting a lot recently, we went to a dried up lake bed, to the ocean, and foggy dying towns. It’s been nice, I should definitely be posting more often. I’ll probably post some candids tomorrow or something.

Anonymous said: Can I ask about your moving process to Oregon? Where and why did you decide to move to specifically? How are you doing job-wise? Do you know someone out there or? (Just asking because I'm 21 going on 22 as well and my life here seems stagnant as well and I just happen to want to move to Portland.
I’m moving to Eugene because I have friends there, and Oregon was my favorite state I went to on my trip. It is so beautiful. Job wise, I’m just doing what I do now (selling gallery prints/exhibitions, commissioned work, hopefully selling my book soon) because it doesnt really matter where I live for that. And yeah Ill be living with my friends (and fellow photographers who you should follow!) Brendon, Jacob, Tiffany, and Jessica (And more people later). I’ll update you guys on how things go once I’m out there!

Today I turn 22, but I wish I was turning 19. I’m not even sure why I hate getting older so much, because each year gets better for me. Tomorrow is my last day in Illinois before I move to Oregon. I can’t wait, early on Monday Ill start driving, but it will take a few days to get there. I think it will be a good way to start a new year of my life; My life here in Illinois has grown pretty stagnant anyways.
I also finished the cover for my book, Ill post it some time soon-ish I think. I’m really excited to see things move forward!

I took this of my friend Natalie in an abandoned house last week.
I’m moving to Oregon in a week. I’ve been in a weird mood and I feel like my work has been suffering from it lately. But I’m hoping this move will put me back on track. My book is really close to done, and I hope to send it off to the printer at the end of the month.
